That means either you will send me lengthy birthday cards babbling about "aura" or "immersion" every year OR you will repress memory of my birthday as a result of some sort of averse association of May 22 with horrid painful thesis writing! (Congrats, by the way!) I am a little freaked out that the wondrous day of *my* birth now has to be shared with your thesis’ birth.
